Winter Skiing Holidays

In winter the resort caters for the long ski season, due to the high altitude (3250 m) of the ski area. Good snow conditions are available from December to the end of April. All levels of skier and snowboarder are catered for in the resort from beginners to experts. English speaking instructors and guides are available at the ESF ski school.

The apartments are ideally situated just 100m from the cable car, lift pass office and ESF ski school. Many of the premier European ski resorts are within easy driving distance. The 3 valleys ( Meribel, Courchevel and Val Thorens), Tignes, Val D'Isere, Valmorel, La Rosiere / La thuile and Pralognan can all be easily reached by car.

Champagny Ski Area

This area is ideal for beginners and early intermediates with easy nursery slopes at the top of the 10 man cable car. A number of blue, red and black are available on the Champagny lift pass. 22 km of prepared cross country skiing is available in nearby Champagne le Haut.

La Plagne / Paradiski area

This area is suitable for intermediates and experts. There are 215 km of prepared pistes as well as more challenging off piste skiing in the La Plagne area. The more adventurous can visit Les Arcs using the Vanoise express link giving access to the Paradiski area. The Paradiski ski area comprises of 239 pistes ( 425km served by 140 ski lifts ), 3 glaciers, 2 summits of more than 3000m. A number of snow parks, half pipes, and boarder crosses are available throughout the area.
